The collection, processing, storage and use of certain personal data by triper is partly necessary so that you can use the telemedia offer on the triper website. This also enables triper to make the use of the website more pleasant and to continuously improve it.

The following declaration gives you an overview of how triper guarantees the protection of users and which data is collected for which purposes. With regard to the terms used, such as "processing" or "person responsible", we refer to the definitions in Art. 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Browser type/version

This file stores the URL that was visited, the date of the visit and an expiry date that determines the period of activity of the cookie. triper uses cookies on the one hand to determine which areas of the triper website are most visited and on the other hand to enable the user to save their personal settings so that they are available again the next time the website is called up. Aggregated statistics on website visits are compiled to determine which areas of the triper website are most visited.
On the Internet pages on which cookies are used, a banner informing you about the use of cookies appears.
You have the choice to decide whether or not to accept cookies. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie or you can exercise your legal right to object by refusing cookies in your browser settings.
If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use the full range of website functions.
Further information on the handling of cookies can be found in the help pages of your browser and, for example, on the website at: http://www.allaboutcookies.org/ge/

Special data processing registration
During user registration, triper collects certain personal data as registration information (mandatory fields). This data includes title, last name, email address and password. All data collected can be seen from the respective input masks. Necessary mandatory information is marked with a *, further information is voluntary. We use this data to provide the contractual services, ie in particular to provide a login on all our pages, to enable user data to be maintained, to manage the password and the newsletter.

Contact form
You can use the contact form provided on the triper website to get in touch with the triper team. If you send triper inquiries in this way, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by triper for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. Of course, triper will not pass this data on to third parties without your consent.

Comment and “like” function
You can comment on and/or rate ("like") posts by other users and/or events. The use of the comment and “like” function is only possible for registered and logged-in users. With your comment or your "like" your pseudonym, which you chose when registering on triper, becomes visible to other users. In the event of complaints/complaints about your comments (by other users or by triper itself), triper will contact you via the e-mail address you provided during registration and ask you to comment on this. Your comment and your “likes” will therefore be linked by triper to the e-mail address you have provided. But it will not be published. triper is entitled to block or delete inappropriate comments, especially if they violate applicable legal provisions.

Upload images
Registered users have the option to upload and publish photo files on triper. This data is stored by triper and is visible to other users (registered and unregistered). triper does not pass on the data to third parties. If the files are deleted by the user, the data is also deleted by triper. Something else only applies if the uploaded file(s) have obviously illegal content and storage is indicated for evidence purposes. In this case, triper reserves the right to store the data for as long as is necessary for purposes of proof.

Content of the newsletter
triper only sends newsletters with the consent of the recipient or legal permission. If the contents of the newsletter are specifically described when registering for the newsletter, they are decisive for the consent of the user. The newsletter also contains information about news and current developments in connection with triper.

Double opt-in and logging
The registration for the newsletter takes place in the so-called "double opt-in procedure". After registering, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that nobody can register with someone else's e-mail address. The registrations for the newsletter are logged in order to be able to prove the registration process in accordance with the legal requirements. This includes storing the time of registration and confirmation as well as the IP address. Likewise, the changes to your data stored at "MailChimp" are logged.

Use of the shipping service provider "MailChimp"
The newsletter is sent using “MailChimp”, a newsletter mailing platform from the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. Both the e-mail addresses of the newsletter recipients and their other data described in this notice are stored on the MailChimp servers in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on behalf of triper. Furthermore, according to its own information, MailChimp can use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the dispatch and the presentation of the newsletter or for economic purposes, in order to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of the newsletter recipients to write to them themselves or to pass them on to third parties.
triper trusts in the reliability and IT and data security of MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU data protection agreement "Privacy Shield" and is thus committed to complying with EU data protection regulations. Furthermore, triper has concluded a "data processing agreement" with MailChimp. This is a contract in which MailChimp undertakes to protect user data, to process it on behalf of triper in accordance with data protection regulations and, in particular, not to pass it on to third parties. You can view MailChimp's privacy policy here: http://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

Credentials
To register for the newsletter, it is sufficient if you enter your e-mail address. Optionally, you will be asked to provide your first and last name. This information is only used to personalize the newsletter. You can also optionally enter your date of birth, gender and your industry. This information is only used to adapt the content of the newsletter to the interests of the readers.

Statistical survey and analysis
The newsletters contain a so-called "web beacon", ie a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the MailChimp server when the newsletter is opened. As part of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval, are initially collected. This information is used to technically improve the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behavior based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or the access times. The statistical surveys also include determining whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. This information can theoretically be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients. However, the evaluations serve exclusively to identify the reading habits of the users and to adapt the contents of triper to them or to send different contents according to the interests of the users.

Online retrieval and data management
In some cases it is possible that the newsletter recipients are directed to the MailChimp websites. For example, the newsletter contains a link with which the newsletter recipient can access the newsletter online (e.g. in the event of display problems in the e-mail program). Furthermore, newsletter recipients can subsequently correct their data, such as their e-mail address. Likewise, MailChimp's data protection declaration can only be accessed on their website. In this context, we would like to point out that cookies are used on the MailChimp websites and that personal data is processed by MailChimp, its partners and the service providers used (e.g. Google Analytics). We have no influence on this data collection. For more information, see MailChimp's privacy policy. We would also like to draw your attention to the possibility of objecting to data collection for advertising purposes on the websites http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ and http://www.youronlinechoices.com/ (for the European area).

Termination/revocation of the newsletter
You can cancel the receipt of the newsletter at any time, ie revoke your consent. At the same time, your consent to its dispatch via MailChimp and the statistical analyzes expire. A separate revocation of the dispatch via MailChimp or the statistical evaluation is unfortunately not possible for technical reasons. You will find a link to cancel the newsletter at the end of each newsletter.

Google Analytics
triper uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the user is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on behalf of triper to evaluate the use of the online offer by users, to compile reports on the activities within this online offer and to provide triper with other services related to the use of this online offer and internet usage. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data. triper only uses Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP addresses of users are shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user's browser is not merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; In addition, users can prevent the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offering being collected by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http:// tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. You can find more information on data use by Google for advertising purposes, setting and objection options on the Google website: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners/ (“Data use by Google when using Websites or apps of our partners"), http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads ("Data use for advertising purposes"), http://www.google.de/settings/ads ("Manage information that Google uses to show you ads") and http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/ ("Control which ads Google shows you").
You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent future collection of your data when you visit this website: Disable Google Analytics

Google Web Fonts
triper uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display text and fonts correctly. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer. You can find more information about Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Google Maps
triper uses the Google Maps API, a map service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”), to display an interactive map. By using Google Maps, information about your use of this website (including your IP address) can be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google may transfer the information obtained through Analytics & Maps to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Under no circumstances will Google associate your IP address with other Google data. Nevertheless, it would be theoretically possible for Google to identify at least individual users based on the data received. It would be technically possible that personal data and personality profiles of users of the Google website could be processed for other purposes over which triper has no influence. You have the option of deactivating the Google Maps service in a simple manner and thus preventing data transfer to Google: To do this, deactivate JavaScript in your browser. However, triper would like to point out that in this case you will not be able to use the map display. By using triper and not deactivating the JavaScript function, you expressly declare that you are aware of the data protection issues and that you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Position query via geolocation API
The triper website can determine the geographic location of your end device. This information is collected solely to provide you with information that may be of interest to you based on your geographic location. The resulting data on your location is neither stored by triper nor used for other purposes. Localization is only possible if you give your separate consent to this. Before the initial localization, you will be asked for consent, which you can give or deny. You have the option of giving your consent for future localizations in your browser settings. You will then no longer be asked for your consent in each individual case. In this case, your consent is valid until you revoke it or until you change your browser settings accordingly.

Hyperlinks
The triper website also contains links that refer to third-party websites on the Internet. triper points out that the data protection declarations of third parties may contain provisions that deviate from triper's data protection declaration.

Use of YouTube
Plugins from the online video platform "YouTube" operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA are used on triper in so-called extended data protection mode. YouTube provides this extended data protection mode and thus ensures that YouTube does not store any cookies with personal or related data on the user's computer. As soon as the user starts playing an embedded video by clicking on it, YouTube only saves cookies on the user's computer that do not contain any personal or personal data due to the extended data protection mode. YouTube uses these, among other things, to collect video statistics, to prevent fraud and to improve user-friendliness. If the user starts an embedded video, this could trigger further data processing operations over which triper has no influence. You can find more information about data protection on YouTube in their data protection declaration at:
https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Information, data correction and deletion
You have the right to free information from triper at any time regarding the personal data stored about you, its origin and recipient as well as the purpose of storage. For a corresponding request, please contact [email protected]. In addition, there are rights to the correction, blocking and deletion of your personal data in accordance with the statutory provisions.

Final provision
triper reserves the right to change the data protection declaration at any time in compliance with the applicable legal requirements.
